Over the 26th and 27th of September, Northern Ireland will be hosting it’s first ever Coffee Festival at T13 in the Titanic Quarter. This festival will be one to indulge all your senses as you will have the opportunity to taste, feel, and taste, listen and watch what the festival has to offer.
The festival is expecting over 4,000 visitors and it is not surprising as the festival has a lot to offer. For visitors who attend the festival (coffee lovers and recent converts like myself) with the number of independent coffee shops continuing to grow, there will be live roasting and brewing from the top roasters in Northern Ireland, artisan brewed coffee stalls and tastings with coffee local delicacies just to name a few.
Alongside all of this, there will be gourmet food stalls from around the world, the NI Barista Championship as well as coffee-infused live music and cinema and much more. A few of the named brands and companies that have already been confirmed for attending the festival are BrewBot, Belfast Coffee Co, Suki Tea, The Bearded Candle Makers (which I cannot wait to check out) as well as Doughzy Donuts and Sprinkles and Crumbs with many more.
If you have ever wanted to know something about coffee or are a secret coffee nerd and have wanted to pick an expert’s brain about the different aspects of coffee, you will have the chance as there will also be a Q&A session where an expert will take questions from the crowd and social media.
The NI Coffee Festival has something for all the family and with it’s affordable tickets, priced at just £6 and with children under 12 going free, obviously when accompanied by an adult, it is a bargain.
And if you don’t fancy a cup of Joe, there will also be a tea space, as we all know there is nothing more we love in Northern Ireland than a good ole cup of tea….or coffee, your choice.
