Movie on the roof – Friday 22nd January

As a tribute to the late and great David Bowie, the Treehouse at AM:PM will host a Bowie themed night on Friday the 22nd of January. What makes this event even greater is that some of the proceeds of the night will go to the Youth Cancer Trust which is a great cause and fitting as Bowie sadly lost his secret battle with cancer.

The night will begin with a showing of Bowie’s most famous film role and the ultimate cult classic Labyrinth. In Jim Henson’s Labyrinth. David Bowie plays Jareth, the Goblin King, a temperamental keeper of said labyrinth who kidnaps a baby because a teenage girl played by Jennifer Connelley wishes him gone. Musical numbers, creepy creatures, and an M.C. Escher-inspired scene of moving and morphing stairs ensue. What more could you honestly want?

If you are to attend this great event, this is what you can look forward to

  • informally served hot tapas
