The good news just keeps rolling in for the Belfast International Airport.

Along with the announcement from Ryanair’s arrival at the airport, it has been announced that there will be another jobs boost for the airport . Swissport, who is the leading aviation ground handling services company, have announced that they will be creating a further 100 new jobs to coincide with the planned airline growth at the airport.

A major recruitment drive has been launched by the company at Belfast International Airport which will see the workforce increase to 350 employees therefore making it the biggest employer at the airport. There are 90 job vacancies still remaining and are to be filled over the next number of weeks as the first ten positions have alreadt been filled.

This announcement follows the news of a job boost at the airport from the security company ICTS who will be adding 40 new staff to its payroll. This latest increase in job opportunities at the airport will be worth more than £1.6 million in wages annually to the Northern Ireland economy.
