New daily non-stop service to Doha.

The airline Qatar Airways have announced that they will offer daily non-stop flights between Dublin and Doha from the 12th June next year. This new service will allow passengers from Ireland to travel not only to Qatar but also travel on to more than 150 key business and leisure destinations around the world.

The Managing Director Vincent Harrison said in a statement of his delight that Qatar Airways would be launching the service in Dublin and that the “…service will bring extra choice and convenience for passengers and will also add Dublin and Ireland to Qatar’s growing global network.”

Qatar Airways’ aircraft Boeing 787 provides a superior experience with spacious cabins and custom-made seats in both Business and Economy Class. It also features 254 custom-made seats across its Business and Economy Class cabins with specially designed interiors. All seats feature individual television screens and on board WIFI, with Business Class seats reclining into a fully flat bed.

Passengers that use this new service from Dublin will be able to enjoy a quick and convenient transfer at Hamad International Airport as they travel onwards to the more than 150 destinations on Qatar Airways’ global network.

Qatar Airways has had a good 2016 with receiving a number of awards this year, including Best Staff Service in the Middle East from Skytrax and World’s Best Business Class 2016 to name a few.

As well as Doha as a destination, Qatar Airways has opened 13 new destinations in 2016 year-to-date. Some of the new cities added this year are Atlanta, Boston, Los Angeles in the USA; Helsinki, Sydney and Adelaide in Australia; and Krabi in Thailand.

The schedule of the flights have been noted to run on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and on Sundays.
