Norwegian announce the launch of it’s first ever transatlantic flights from Belfast!
The budget Norwegian has announced the launch of it’s first ever flights from Belfast which will be the airport’s only direct transatlantic flights. As well as this great news for travellers looking to fly to the USA, the new routes will be low-cost and start from as little as £69 one way.
These new transatlantic routes will come into effect from July this year with Norwegian offering two never before seen routes from Belfast International Airport with five weekly flights direct to the greater New York and Boston areas. Ideal for those who like to explore the less tourist based areas of the states.
The affordable fares for passengers are due to the routes being based in smaller airports in the states which offer good access into the surrounding Boston, New York and New England areas but also carry significantly lower landing charges.
The new routes will have three weekly services on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays to the Stewart International Airport in New York from the first of July. For those still wanting to travel to Manhatten, it is only 90 minutes away from the airport. The only direct flight to Providence, Rhode Ireland will also be from the first of July on Tuesday and Saturdays with Boston also 90 minutes away as well as other popular destinations in New England such as Cape Cod.
This is a great boost to the travel and tourism industry both here and in the greater New York and New England area. For those interested in booking, these great flights are now available to book at the Norwegian website which you can find here
